Your opportunity

  • You will experience the culture of a technology startup and work in an international environment with SkillLabers from +25 countries.
  • You will make a positive change in the world by finding the best talent that will develop our career guidance technology.
  • You will work closely with the Internal Operations team, as well as other functions when needed.
  • You will gain handson experience in sourcing, building diverse talent pipelines, recruitment and HR administration in a tech company of 50+ people.

Your team
You will closely collaborate with is Elsa as our Recruitment & People Operations Specialist.

Elsa is part of the Internal Operations team and is responsible for a variety of HR processes like recruitment, employee onboarding, off-boarding, holidays & leave, HR administration etc.

Felix as one of Skilllab cofounders leads the internal operations team. You will also work work with him and attend the internal ops meetings.

Other people that make up the internal operations team is Tais as our People Operations Coordinator and Office Manager., Tanya as our Finance Generalist and Halvor who manages Information Security & Data Privacy at SkillLab.

As the internal ops team we ensure the smooth running of SkillLab as an organisation and support our beloved SkillLabers.

Your impact

  • You will source exceptional talent to join SkillLab and help us build diverse talent pipelines
  • You will help us identify ways to promote our internships in relevant universities within the NL and support our fullcycle internship recruitment process
  • You will support general HR administration in different areas like recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and our HRIS system (Hibob)
  • You will work on HR projects that will have an impact on our company, like improving internship supervision and researching a potential remote work model for SkillLab.

Your skills

  • You have a background in Human Resources and understand basic HR concepts. No specific work experience is required.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively in a team but at the same time demonstrate independence.
  • You can effectively organise your own work and are able to prioritise accordingly based on needs and urgency.

Extra awesome

  • You have prior internship experience or university projects related to recruitment, sourcing and other HR topics
  • You are a Dutch speaker.

Requirements:


  • You are currently enrolled as a student or graduated within the last 12 months.
  • You are able to commit to a sixmonth fulltime (40 hour/week) internship.

Compensation, start-date & compensation

  • This is a paid internship. If you live in Amsterdam or relocate to Amsterdam during your internship, then the monthly reimbursement will be 1.000 EUR.
  • You can do the internship by living in a nearby city in the Netherlands and commuting to the office 23 days per week. The monthly reimbursement will be 700 EUR and SkillLab will cover your train commuting expenses to Amsterdam.

Our selection procedure

  • We will invite you for a short screening call.
  • We will invite you for a 60min interview if we find that you are a good fit. The interview will involve you preparing a short assignment.
