Your opportunity

Your team


You will work closely with and report to Arijana who is our Strategy Generalist and informs our business strategy with knowledge from her extensive market research.

She is part of the business team and her core responsibilities include analysing the market, focusing on funding streams, relevant theoretical frameworks and policy changes, and identifying strategic opportunities.

You will also join the Business team and will cooperate with our Business partners. You will attend weekly team meetings and support our business strategy with your research.

Your impact

  • You will conduct market research for certain geographical regions (eg. Europe, Asia, and Latin America) and help us identify relevant procurement opportunities
  • You will translate your research findings into concise reports that will inform our business decisions
  • You will assist in analyzing policies, professional developments, and relevant partner structures
  • You will support us in strengthening our company brand by finding relevant conferences and events SkillLab can attend.

Your skills

  • You have a background in Sociology, Public administration, Political sciences, Migration studies, Anthropology, Social policy or a related field.
  • You have a demonstrated interest in market research, business strategy, report writing and / or a related field.
  • You have been in involved in academic or extracurricular activities where you practiced and demonstrated your data collection, qualitative research and writing skills.
  • You are interested in employment policy and how employment services can improve people's lives.

Extra awesome

  • Previous internship and / work experience in market research, business development, or related field.

Requirements:


  • You have the right to work in the Netherlands.
  • You are currently enrolled as a student or graduated within the last 12 months.
  • You are able to commit to a sixmonth fulltime (40 hour/week) internship.

Compensation, start-date & location

  • This is a paid internship. If you live in Amsterdam or relocate to Amsterdam during your internship, then the monthly reimbursement is will be 1.000 EUR.
  • You can do the internship by living in another city in the Netherlands and commuting to the office 12 days per week. If you do the internship remotely, then the monthly reimbursement will be 700 EUR. SkillLab covers your train commuting expenses to Amsterdam.

Our selection procedure

  • We will invite you for a short screening call.
  • We will invite you for a 60min interview if we find that you are a good fit. The interview will involve you preparing a short assignment.
