Samen met de VP Marketing & Productmanagement, VP Finance, IT & Digital en de twee Sales Directors bouw je de marktpositie verder uit. Glen Dimplex Benelux is, met ca. 75 medewerkers, onderdeel van een succesvolle Ierse moederorganisatie. Glen Dimplex Group is een wereldleider op het gebied van intelligente elektrische verwarming en duurzame energieoplossingen, en bekleedt tevens belangrijke wereldwijde marktposities op het gebied van huishoudelijke apparaten, koeling en ventilatie.
Als VP Operations rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de algemeen directeur en opereer je vanuit het hoofdkantoor van Glen Dimplex Benelux in Heerenveen.
Jouw resultaatgebieden
Als VP Operations binnen Glen Dimplex ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor, geef je leiding aan en vertegenwoordig je de afdelingen R&D, Supply Chain en Assembly, door het totale proces te overzien, heldere resultaatgebieden op te stellen en medewerkers aan te sturen op relevante werkprocessen.
Je signaleert bottlenecks in het operationele proces, door te allen tijde accurate en relevante meetpunten (R&D, Inkoop, productie en logistiek) voorhanden te hebben, proactief te reageren, waarbij je eindverantwoordelijk bent voor de handhaving en controle van deze data.
Je concretiseert en implementeert werkprocessen, door na afstemming resultaatgericht een strategie om te zetten naar een consistente operatie en intern te blijven communiceren.
Je creëert alignment tussen Commercial (Sales, Marketing en Product Management) en Operations, door de verschillende belangen te onderzoeken en deze af te stemmen op het organisatiebelang en elkaar wordt de onderlinge samenwerking versterkt.
Je optimaliseert de interne communicatie/interactie binnen de teams R&D, Supply Chain en Assembly en de overige afdelingen, door consistent te handelen, te vertellen wat de organisatie gaat doen en te doen wat er wordt verteld.
Je creëert een mentaal/emotioneel gezond werkklimaat, door het welbevinden van medewerkers te monitoren, te faciliteren en waar nodig actie te ondernemen om medewerkers optimaal inzetbaar te houden.
Je creëert scherpe leveranciersafspraken, door nieuwe relaties aan te gaan en optimaal 'te closen' en bij bestaande relaties het rendement (prijzen, voorwaardes) intern op te vragen en waar nodig in gesprek te gaan om deze leveranciersafspraken te optimaliseren.

je de voorraad en inventaris en optimaliseert de parameters die leiden tot voorraad en inventaris (supply data strategisch afgestemd met Sales);
je vanuit Supply Chain aanspreekpunt voor de verkoop binnen Europa voor de Business Units Consumer Appliances en Heating & Ventilation;
je de potentie om door te groeien naar algemeen directeur;
je operationeel sterk in een complexe internationale organisatie.

Kennis & Ervaring
Je hebt een HBO studie afgerond. Denk aan (Technische) bedrijfskunde, Werktuigbouwkunde, Electrotechniek of soortgelijke opleiding.
Je hebt minimaal vijf jaar relevante leidinggevende ervaring.
Je heb Supply Chain kennis en affiniteit.
Je hebt technische kennis, met als doel om R&D binnen Glen Dimplex Group te vertegenwoordigen en optimaal te communiceren met leveranciers.
Je hebt basiskennis logistiek (documentatie, stakeholders enz.).
Je bent communicatief vaardig in Nederlands, Engels en Frans is een pre.
