    DevOps Engineer Workday HCM

    Eindhoven (NL)/ Lommel (BE)

    As a DevOps Engineer specialized in Workday HCM, your role is pivotal in advancing Renewi's utilization of the platform, bolstering support for business operations, and ensuring a smooth experience for all colleagues. You're tasked with providing ongoing support and exploring ways to improve the functionality of the Workday platform.

    Your main goal is to improve the everyday use of Workday for all employees, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to manage tasks like leave, rewards, and expenses efficiently. Collaboration is paramount as you prioritize tasks alongside Product Owners of virtual teams, working closely with Agile Architects, Business Analysts, and fellow DevOps Engineers, as well as engaging business users. Assuming responsibility for the application's lifecycle management, you ensure its seamless operation and evolution.

    Your work is characterized by a mix of creative innovation and technical prowess, manifested in meticulous design, rigorous testing, and seamless integration efforts. By fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, you drive continuous improvement, continually expanding the horizons of our HCM capabilities.

    You responsibilities include the following:

    • Serve as the HRIT partner supporting HCM
    • Design and maintain system configuration in Workday
    • Maintain master data values in Workday
    • Test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday
    • Serve as a strong consultative partner to your stakeholders
    • Provide input to HRIT DevOps Lead and internal stakeholders

    Your profile:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    • Workday HCM experience in at least two modules preferred
    • HR functional experience preferred
    • Affinity and/or experience with inbound and outbound integrations preferred
    • Experience in a DevOps environment or affinity and knowledge of the DevOps model preferred
    • Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on data related inquiries
    • Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the customers' needs and situation
    • Understand basic database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders
    • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities
    • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
