    Minimum qualifications:

    About the opportunity

    Google Hardware Operations team oversees the physical infrastructure supporting Google's search technology. As an Operations Technician, you'll handle hardware installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting. You'll also manage server software and complex network components like routers, hubs, and switches. Working on cutting-edge computer technology, you'll engage in small project teams, developing contingency plans and installing racks manually.

    Technical Infrastructure plays a key role in maintaining Google's online presence, from data centers to new platforms. As engineers' engineers, we ensure smooth network operations for optimal user experience.

    Responsibilities
    • Resolve technical issues across hardware, software, and operations, engaging with stakeholders.
    • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of critical technical issues.
    • Contribute to deploying and maintaining Google Cloud region infrastructure.
    • Assist in testing new server hardware components and troubleshooting OS-related issues.
