    Responsibilities:

    Product Design : Percentage of working time= 70%
    - Contribute to product vision and product releases.- Design delightful, human-centered solutions that add value to the product(s).- Design, iterate, prototype and test new product features.- Confidently communicate design concepts (sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and flows) to key stakeholders, advocating for the best possible user experience.- Working in a structured and agile way with your team and unit.- Constructively critique work of team members.- Collaborate closely both within your team and with other teams towards a higher goal, rather than working in isolation.
    Customer Success : Percentage of working time=15%
    - Continuously deliver value to our customers.- Synthesize user insights, gaps and opportunities into differentiating concepts and delightful, human-centric solutions which contribute to our customer's success.- Evaluate and validate product usability on a regular basis with users, customers, and internal stakeholders, and use this input to improve Mendix's products, processes and company.
    Knowledge & Development: Percentage of working time=15%
    - Stay updated with the latest trends/thinking and move beyond product design artifacts and tools to create the right deliverables for the job.- Eager to learn more and improve, whether it's the product, a process, your team, or yourself.- Share knowledge within the team, unit, R&D, and Mendix.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in design or relevant experience in this field.
  • Experience in product design.
  • Can function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Pro-active and act when needed without needing specific instructions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Open minded and able to think outside the box.
  • Experience with Figma, or similar tools.
  • Experience working with design systems will be a plus.
