Market CFO is a key Cluster Finance leadership role with a strong commercial, control and transformation emphasis, as well as senior member of the Market senior leadership team and the Cluster Finance leadership team.
The job holder is expected to play a key role in defining the strategic evolution of the business, be a trusted advisor to the Market CEO and its leadership team.
The job holder is expected to be a strong contributor to the Market transformation across the Business and Finance function.
Advises on key business decisions through sound commercial judgement, highlighting options, trade-offs, risks and opportunities as a senior member of the management team.
~ Leads the finance teams in providing financial insights to the business on key leavers for our market.~ Is responsible for the short and long-term budgetary planning and cost management.
~ Works collaborative with the management teams of the Practices in the market to make sure the budget is accurate, ambitious yet reflects the reality of the market and is in line with the vision of the company.
~ Responsible for external audit input from the market in a timely manner, integrity of financial statement including balance sheet accounts and internal audit sign off at market level, and Management of cash requirements, working capital and working capital improvement initiatives.
~ A critical part of role is change management and transformation.
~ Finance function leadership
~ Direct responsibility for performance and career development for market finance team.
~ Manages and develops a high performance and commercially focused finance team in our market.
~ Builds and develop finance capabilities, increase efficiency and the value add of the Finance team. Embeds client profitability and excellent commercial judgement in business decision-making.
~ Member of Cluster Finance Leadership team, expected to be a key contributor to the team through active idea- and best-practice sharing. 10+ years' relevant experience across finance disciplines
~ Strong commercial edge
~ Expert level financial analysis skills
~ Excellent project management skills
~ Fluent in English and Dutch
~ Great business partnering capabilities and strong at stakeholder management
~ Strong knowledge in both IFRS and local GAAP accounting
~ Ability to lead, challenge and develop a team
~ Thrives under pressure and excels in meeting strict deadlines
~ Good prioritizing and time management skills.
~ Ambitious self-starter, able to spot ideas and inspiration
