    To safely execute this growth we are looking for a Senior Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Business Partner to join the Global APMT Safety & Resilience team to support our Project Execution (PE) team.

    As the Senior HSE Business Partner you will have the opportunity to guide, update and (re)define how projects are delivered, build on and further mature the HSE culture, and be part of APM Terminals delivering on its 2030 growth strategy.

    Role -model, drive, and embed the HSE culture within the PE team
    Define the HSE operating system for PE and embed HSE into the function's Ways of Working
    Promote and spotlight continuous improvement, learning from the frontline, and embedding of lessons learned, through the application of Lean tools (e.g. Execute regular HSSE assurance reviews on site as part of the PE Execution Review
    Define the HSSE technical criteria and participates in contractor HSSE tender evaluations, selection and monitoring program. This may include reviewing Tier 1 contractor HSSE construction phase plans, management plans, and risk registers
    Collate and interpret HSSE performance data from projects, identifying trends, items for escalation, and opportunities for improvement
    Act as the functional HQ contact for the Tier 1 contractor and PMC Heads of HSSE
    Further develop and implement an HSE Roadmap (framework) for the delivery of capital projects in APM Terminals and embed within the PE Integration Framework, project control processes and HSSE management framework already in place
    Degree in Health, Safety, Security or Environmental discipline, or equivalent industry experience
    ~ 10+ years' experience in HSSE at a senior level with civil infrastructure projects including design, construction and commissions. Ability to engage and influence stakeholders, and to motivate and empower others to achieve positive HSE outcomes
    Ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects and scopes of work, working in teams and independently, and via a hybrid working approach
    Collaborative and co-creating approach to how we build our HSE Ways of Working in PE
    Coaching and empowering approach to the further development of our HSE culture
    The team

    ~ You will join the APMT Safety & Resilience team which consists of 15 professionals supporting the overall APM Terminals organization in all Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Business Resilience matters. In most aspects you will become an integral part of the Project Execution team as well.

    Excellent English language skills, second language such as Spanish, French or Arabic is preferred, third language nice-to-have.
