    Job title

    Warehouse Operations Supervisor Breda

    Primary job function

    • Daily hands on supervision and training of warehouse personnel.
    • Manages receiving personnel to insure proper count and physical inspection of incoming products against system inbound order.
    • Manages pick, consolidation and loading operation to ensure proper distribution of finished product to various customers.

    Core job Responsibilities(major accountabilities)

    • Coordinates inter-company transfer of product among warehouses for customer deliveries.
    • Purchases and coordinates with suppliers to ensure adequate inventory is received and available for all Commodities, such as Packaging – Labels – plastic wrapping.
    • Overseas proper warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.
    • Responsible to maintain warehouse in full compliance with all local regulatory safety, labor, worker's comp and health requirements.
    • Participation in monthly business reviews and control reporting system, KPI`s.
    • Performance of special cost studies as required (e.g. delivery, Labor sorting)
    • Responsible for controlling labor cost.
    • Responsible for minimizing product shrinkage.
    • Responsible for establishing staffing schedules.
    • Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of all warehouse rolling stock, i.e. forklifts.
    • Selection, training development, motivation, review and control of warehouse employees to assure continuity of efficient operations.
    • Requires a flexible work schedule.

    Supervisory/management responsibilities

    This position is responsible for a team of 10-20 direct reports.

    Education

    • HBO level of working and thinking.

    • IT skills.
    • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to provide operational guidance and leadership to staff in area of specialty.
    • Ability to read, understands, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
    • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
    • Ability to read and interpret customer requirements.
    • Awareness of the responsibilities of budget holding.
    • MS Office.

    9.Business knowledge & experience

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience of modern Warehouse Operations.
    • Minimum 2 years Supervisor experience.
    • Automatic warehouse experiences.
    • Knowledge of Automatic Warehouse environments.
    • Strong working knowledge and understanding of WMS, High-Bay storage, Electronic equipment.
    • Knowledge of Direct Distribution and International Shipments.
