- Served as a Master inland shipping (tanker barge) including Rhine navigation-, VHF- and radar certificate or served as a Marine Superintendant at an inland tanker barge company with ADN
- Oversees the vetting process and can reviewdetailed vetting reports
- Has QHSSE knowledge and skills
- Is able to conduct in-house workshops in relation to barge safety operations and performance
- Participate in internal audits
- Fluent in English and Dutch communication, German is a plus.
- Strong social and communication skills for maintaining internal and external contacts like regulatory authorities.
- Accurate and systematic approach to conduct thorough inspections of barges
- Can provide ongoing training and support to barge crews
- A person with a critical mindset and a desire for continuous improvement and adding value
