    Royal IHC heeft een stage beschikbaar voor een Cost Estimator. Jij gaat helpen bij het op voorhand juist inschatten van de kostprijs van onze producten.

    De afdeling ontwerp en calculatie van de PMG custom built verzorgt het ontwerp en de calculatie van hoppers en custom built cutterzuigers. Dit loopt van relatief eenvoudige ontwerpen tot aan unieke, waardevolle en kostbare ontwerpen. 'Het gave aan ons werk is dat we beginnen met een blanco blad en dat we enkele jaren en vele honderdduizenden manuren later aan boord staan tijdens de proefvaart. Als we ons werk goed doen, stelt dat onze klant in staat tot tientallen jaren na oplevering geld te verdienen met de IHC-producten'.

    Op basis van een productbeschrijving, kostenmodellen, kennisbanken en aanvragen wordt de kostprijs van het ontwerp begroot voor het gekozen bouwscenario en vervolgens wordt deze kostprijs vertaald in een offerteprijs in overleg met directie. Deze werkzaamheden vinden plaats in de aanbiedingsfase, de fase voor contract. In geval van een opdracht verzorgt de afdeling engineering de basis en detail engineering van het verkochte ontwerp.

    Opdracht:

  • Ontwerpen, vullen en implementeren van een gestructureerde database voor standaard scheepsbouwcomponenten.
  • Samenwerken met diverse teams binnen Royal IHC om nauwkeurige en up-to-date componentinformatie te verzamelen.
  • Ontwikkelen van gebruiksvriendelijke interface voor het ophalen en beheren van gegevens.

    • Voorbeelden van componenten zijn: Luiken, bolders, railing werk en trappen maar ook werktuigbouwkundige componenten zoals een bilge water separator of een sewage treatment unit.

    Jouwprofiel:

    Om te kunnendiscussiëren en de organisatie en collega's te informeren over de ontwikkelingen en initiatieven van deze stage, moet je eennieuwsgierig, zelfverzekerd en zelfgedrevenpersoonzijn. Als vierdejaarsstudent ben je in staat om initiatief te nemenbij het uitvoeren van je taken. Om voordezefunctie in aanmerking te komenmoet je beschikken over:

  • Een HBO (of WO) opleiding in de richting van Technische Bedrijfskunde, Commerciele Economie, Werktuigbouwkunde of Scheepsbouw.
  • Een hoge mate van interesse in de maritieme industrie.
  • VloeiendNederlandsen Engels, zowelmondelingalsschriftelijk.
  • Proactief: je krijgt de vrijehdi om zefl te beapeln waar in de organisatie je de informatie vandaan haalt. Jij neemt initatief en gaat de informatie ophalen.
  • Pragmatisch kunnen denken.
  • Sociaal vaardig. Je bent in staat om binnen de organisatie een netwerk op te bouwen en met verschillende lagen van de organisatie een connectie te maken.

    • Wat maakt deze opdracht interessant: Bij het uitvoeren van de opdracht maakt de student niet alleen kennis met de producten van IHC, maar ook met verschillende disciplines binnen het proces. Een eerste aanzet van de lijst met componenten zal worden opgesteld in samenspraak met ontwerpers en calculatoren. Vervolgens zal deze lijst worden getoetst binnen engineering en productie. In overleg met de afdeling inkoop zal per component bepaald worden bij welke leveranciers ze zullen worden aangevraagd en zal de student deze aanvraag verzorgen, opvolgen en de gekozen offerte opnemen in de kennisbank.
