    The client is a well-known hotel in the Utrecht region. The hotel features 80 rooms, various meeting rooms, and conference facilities for 1200 guests. The location is easily accessible by car and public transport.

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a full-time independent chef for our location in the Utrecht area.

    As an independent chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and preparing dishes, and managing inventory. When stock is low, you will ensure it is replenished through our trusted suppliers.

    On a typical workday, you will be involved in

    • Preparing dishes and kitchen tasks;
    • Planning daily activities, ordering food supplies, and other stock replenishments;
    • Supervising assistant staff, providing guidance and instructions;
    • Ensuring compliance with safety, Health and Safety, and HACCP regulations;
    • Developing new recipes and enhancing current menus

    Requirements

    • MBO level 4 or HBO level of education (preferably with SVH Master Chef diploma);
    • Demonstrable knowledge of all cooking techniques;
    • Relevant work experience;
    • Understanding of purchasing (fresh) products/ingredients and (menu composition);
    • Flexible working hours availability
