As a Design Engineer, you have a pivotal role in the product creation process. You work in close cooperation with other mechanical-, chemical-, electrical- and software-engineers, to make sure all modules will be realised within spec.

The role includes the ownership of several modules within the electrolyser system, such as thermal management by heat exchangers and pressure regulation through valves and back pressure regulators. The product requirements are defined together with the system architect. After which it's up to you to design and realise the modules, going through the entire product generation process. Starting with the definition of requirements, followed by conceptual and detailed designs, and finishing with the validation of your designs through testing in the commissioning phase. Your role will focus on the process lay-out and the selection and sizing of components, detailed CAD drawing will be done by/in collaboration with a CAD design engineer.

    Tasks and responsibilities
