    Functie

    As a Manufacturing Engineering Manager (ME Manager) at GKN Fokker Elmo, you will lead a multi-disciplined team focused on process control to eliminate defects through GKN Aerospace's Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) tool suite. Your responsibilities include:

    - Prioritizing safety and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies;

    - Developing technical solutions for complex problems;

    - Leading engineering teams to achieve operational and program goals;

    - Delivering class-leading engineering solutions;

    - Establishing and maintaining functional engineering standards;

    - Leading capability and career development of the team;

    - Building a culture of process control and ZDM mindset;

    - Implementing tooling and production planning utilizing the ZDM tool suite;

    - Accountable for product development, cost estimation, and schedule coordination;

    - Fostering positive relationships with customers and coworkers;

    - Implementing Lean initiatives to improve production processes.

    Functie-eisen

    Hard skills

    - Technical expertise in Manufacturing Engineering;

    - Experience in high-quality production environments;

    - Experience in managing new product/process introduction and production process improvements;

    - 5-10 years of industry experience;

    - Approximately 5 years of leadership/management experience;

    - Knowledge of LEAN processes and quality system models;

    - Fluent in English.

    Soft skills

    - Ability to influence people and build effective relationships;

    - Strong analytical and quality-focused mindset;

    - Results-driven with commercial awareness.
