In this role, you are part of the Operational Materials Management (OMM) function in our factory in Best . It is one of the main Operation sites for Health Systems within Philips worldwide. Our organization is driving operational excellence and manufactures, refurbishes, repairs, and ships our medical devices & components in a safe, compliant, and effective manner. Next to this, the OMM function is also responsible for the preparation and introduction of changes on products/ components/production processes for released products and receiving and implementing manufacturing transfers from Industrialization engineering.
By joining this organization, you will be part of the transformation journey towards a world class Operations organization to better serve our customers with speed and excellence. You will report to the Operational Material Manager of Diagnostic X-Ray (DXR).
You are responsible for:
·Master Tactical Planner for OMM. Plays the key connection between Buyer, PDLM, S&OP, OCCB and production planning.
·Define inventory settings and provide guidance for Master Data Team on master data based on product specific characteristics in supply, manufacturing and demand (Plan for Every Part - PFEP), and monitor and manage during the full product life cycle (including material and supplier changes)
·Full operational ownership on OMM Functional Planning KPIs, driving continuous improvements, and managing material availability and industrial inventory.
·Manage demand fluctuations.
·Managing inventory control, reporting & reduction planning
·Connect to buying teams on a regular cadence to review and handle escalations, risks, potential improvements etc. Manage Hot List and Meeting.
·Perform Material Planning based on S&OP Inputs, and provide feedback into S&OP.
·Operational ownership of MRP monitor
You are a part of
The Operational Material Management Team in Best. Together with this team you are owning and driving the supply chain processes in one of the biggest Operations sites for Health Systems. In close collaboration with the multiple Diagnosis & Treatment businesses, we manufacture, refurbish and repair medical devices & components for our customers. In the team, you work closely together with the leaders of Planning & Execution Control, Logistics Services, NPI Supply Chain and Reverse Logistics to implement within Philips the new operational Improvement programs by ensuring transparency and drive adoption.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following:
·Bachelor / master's degree in (technical) business studies or supply chain management.
·A person with following behavior and character:, high problem solving and decision-making capabilities, customer-focused, accurate, persistent, assertive, drive to results, deliver on commitment, able to build bridges, strong stake-holder management, team player in a dynamic environment,
·A person with following Functional competencies: Advanced Materials management knowledge, SAP MM advanced knowledge, Supply chain advanced knowledge, Experience with Operational procurement processes, E2E process understanding with clear milestones and deliverables
·3-5 years working experience preferably in a cross functional position in operations
·Strong and accurate analytical skills.
·Good communication skills, fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
·Proven, strong experience in MS Excel, SAP
·Experience in medical device industry and/or high-tech machine building industry is preferred
·Working experience in international setting is preferred
