    The position of a Runner at Eindhoven 1 DHL Supply Chain plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operations of the warehouse and logistics processes. Responsibilities include assisting with the movement of packages, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, maintaining cleanliness, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. This fast-paced position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work in a team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the movement and handling of packages, parcels, and other items within the warehouse.
    • Support the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, ensuring items are properly secured.
    • Help maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, disposing of waste, and organizing shelves.
    • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments.
    • Perform basic administrative tasks, such as labeling, scanning, and documenting packages.
    • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and address any issues that may arise.
    Functie-eisen
    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
    • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
    • EPT and Stapelaar licences are also preferred but not required as training will be provided.
    • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
    • Familiarity with basic computer applications and warehouse management systems is a plus.
    • A valid driver's license is desirable but not mandatory.
