    Process Improvement Specialist

    Als Process Improvement Specialist ben je internationaal werkzaam als operationeel, tactisch en strategische ondersteuning voor de Business Unit Overseas. Jouw bijdrage is van groot belang in de groei en in het verder ontwikkelen en neerzetten van onze overseas organisatie. De werkzaamheden zijn gericht op het initiëren, coördineren, begeleiden en realiseren van de afdelingsplannen. Je draait data-analyses, denkt en werkt processen uit, analyseert deze en doet verbetervoorstellen om de prestaties en de efficiëntie te optimaliseren.

    Om ervoor te zorgen dat dit succesvol geïmplementeerd wordt, ben je onderdeel van diverse projectteams, heb je regelmatig contact met IT en schrijf je werkinstructies voor de teams. Dit doe je voor onze overseasteams in Venlo en Duisburg en ons airfreightteam in Schiphol.

    Jouw werkomgeving
    Als Process Improvement Specialist rapporteer je hiërarchisch aan de Director Overseas en werk je nauw samen met alle collega's uit onze Overseas organisatie. Om de business optimaal te ondersteunen werk je daarnaast ook nauw samen met onze IT & Engineering collega's, leidinggevenden en directie.
    Je bent hoofdzakelijk werkzaam in Venlo, werkt regelmatig in Duisburg en bezoekt af en toe onze vestiging op Schiphol.

  • Je bent kritisch, fris en energiek persoon. Iemand die goed kan samenwerken op verschillende niveaus en teams weet te verbinden.
  • Je bent sterk in procesmatig denken en altijd op zoek naar verbeteringen
  • Je weet meerdere taken te combineren en strakke deadlines te hanteren zonder de kwaliteit van het werk in gevaar te brengen.
  • Daarnaast ben je ondernemend en resultaatgericht. Je hebt goede communicatieve vaardigheden (NL/EN/DE)en weet als geen ander hoe je op een boeiende wijze ideeën en plannen presenteert en hier draagvlak voor creëert.
  • Je hebt een afgeronde HBO / WO opleiding bijvoorbeeld in de richting van Logistiek, Supply Chain Management of Technische bedrijfskunde en hebt 2-5 jaar ervaring in een soortgelijke rol. Het is daarnaast een pre als je beschikt over een projectmanagement certificering (Prince2, PMP or IPMA) en ervaring hebt met software implementaties. Je hebt ervaring of affiniteit met 'Continuous Improvement' en bent bereid mee te ontwikkelen met ons LEAN Six Sigma programma.
