    What you will do

    Metyis is growing We are looking for an eCommerce Director to join our Digital Commerce

    global team, while being based in Amsterdam.

    • Enable the acceleration of digital selling for our clients
    • Create a state-of-the-art ecommerce capability
    • Build, develop and manage the teams at our clients
    • Create an agile, highly collaborative way of working within Metyis and with our clients
    • Act as a central point of contact for eCommerce to senior management
    • Steer business, acquisition, analytics, operations and technology to offer the best-inclass user experience and interface through continuous redesign
    • Accelerate the pace of digital innovation with high-impact insights enhancing decision making across the entire organization
    • Oversee (advanced) analytics projects that help channels to become more profitable
    • Monitor and oversee the planning and development of eCommerce projects to ensure the targets are met in accordance with deadline

    What you'll bring

    • Entrepreneurial spirit.
    • Minimum 10 years of work experience in eCommerce, in comparable leadership roles, with clear and demonstrable P&L experience and strong operational rigor.
    • Fluent in Dutch with experience in either big or medium sized projects and organizations, preferably in an early director role with a B2C focus.
    • Willingness to travel in countries like Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland while being anchored in the Netherlands and with good connections in the Dutch ecommerce market.
    • Knowledge of the local market and the ability to bring in Dutch clients, with a focus on making an impact in the Netherlands.
    • Experience of a fast growth, in an international and matrixed corporate environment.
    • Must be consumer focused.
    • Experienced in leading ecommerce, tech and analytics teams and roadmaps.
    • Strong in structured and logical thinking, problem solving, issue resolution, and attention to detail.
    • Exceptional analytical skills - ability to generate insight from complex analytics and make digestible to the masses Demonstrated strength in digital optimization on websites, mobiles devices and digital marketing vehicles.
    • Strong organizational and process management skills.
    • Strong team building and developer of people.
    • Proven ability to collaborate broadly with flexible, positive attitude and ability to get results.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate to the senior executive levels.
    • English and Dutch fluency are mandatory for this role.
