    Beschrijving

    You will take ownership and improve designs in the field of highly accurate and stable opto-mechanical modules in collaboration with a small team of experts in a multi-disciplinary project setting.

    You are responsible for the architectural definition of new products and you will take the lead in the development and sustaining of products by specification, concept study, volume control, interface definition, design, mechanical calculations, analysis, drawings, qualification, integration and test execution of mechanical components, modules, and subsystems.

    Develop and maintain the MDEV functional cluster roadmap, break down requirements, generate specifications and architecture, work on technology development needs for mechanical modules in DUV Imaging.

    Support the team with planning and prioritization and create architectural estimates of upcoming work.

    Be the technical expert of the team, willing to accumulate knowledge of the technical portfolio and document and share that information.

    Guide the design to ensure the qualification and quality-mindset.
    Master's or PhD degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronic / Optics.

    At least 7 years of relevant working experience for MSc or at least 5 years of relevant working experience for PhD.

    Creating new designs from concept to detailed design stage. At least 3 year of experience in leading design teams of up to 5 design engineers.
    Experienced in defining FEM analysis requirements (mechanical, thermal and modal) and evaluating the results.

    Demonstrated ability to lead technology and product development teams involving multiple stakeholders and constraints, balancing functional requirements against aggressive timelines and resource limitations.

    You'll be part of a creative, dynamic work environment where you'll collaborate with supportive colleagues. There is always space for creative and unique points of view. Highly motivated team player with excellent social, coordination and communication skills (English).

    Ability to provide technical direction, motivate and lead a team of professional engineers, driving execution excellence achieving high quality deliverables.

    Ability to make decisions for the team based on existing facts, and to organize team structure and scheduling to lead towards achieving the required goals.
