To bolster this ambition, they're seeking a visionary Chief Technical Architect to guide their engineering squad.

**The Opportunity**

In this pivotal role, you'll steer their talented technical crew towards new heights of innovation and excellence, working in sync with their seasoned CTO and a compact team of 5 engineers who excel in both front and backend development.

You'll be the catalyst that propels product performance and will set the trajectory for their technology roadmap, poised to step into the shoes of their current freelance lead developer in the short term.

**Your Responsibilities**

Orchestrating a team of five engineers

Aligning closely with the Product Manager to propel the product's business success via roadmap planning, quality enhancement, and usability optimization

Contributing hands-on to backend, frontend, or infrastructure code

Pioneering product enhancements in functionality, scalability, and usability

Spearheading the development of new features within the product and APIs

Conducting and learning from code reviews

Championing technical health of the product, proposing, and executing technical uplifts

Undertaking team leadership duties - recruitment, performance tracking, feedback provision

Facilitating the professional growth of each team member

**About You**

You've spent 5+ years honing your skills as a Full-Stack Developer with a penchant for SaaS backend and front-end development

You possess half a decade of experience with Python, Typescript

You're fluent in Django and React

You've worked with Docker and Git

You're comfortable using public cloud services like AWS

You've had the experience of helming a small team

You're just as excited about rolling up your sleeves and coding as you are about guiding your team

You're proactive, understand the importance of clear communication and thrive in a coaching role

You're an adept communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work cohesively with an international team

You're proficient in English and conversant in Dutch

You're a natural problem-solver, data-oriented, and adept at converting ideas into action
