This is a job at a leading,international biotech company working on state-of-art medicines.The location in Maastricht area has a large team of motivated andenthusiastic colleagues, collaborating to produce high qualitypersonalized medicines. The company provides an extensive trainingto ensure well trained employees and high quality products. Thecompany language is English.

This is a position as a laboratory technician at abiotech company. The company is specialized in the production ofpersonalized medicines, based on cell culturing activities. To aidin their production processes, the company is now looking forcolleagues. In this job you will be culturing of human cellsin a clean room. You will be following strict processes to ensurehigh quality products (GMP standard).

The first weeks you will be following an extensivetraining, in which you will learn all about working in a clean roomand performing the cell culturing processes and will be qualifiedto perform them. The company is not necessarily looking forcandidates with prior experience in biotech production processes.As long as you have a laboratory background, a hands-on mindset andare eager to learn the process, we would like to get in touch todiscuss this position in more detail.

Forthis position we are looking for a laboratory professional whomeets the following requirements:

• Avocational (MLO) or bachelors degree (HLO, BASc) in life sciences,biotechnology, microbiology or similar
• Practical (internship) experience with sterile processeslike cell culturing, molecular biology or microbiology
• Experience with GMP and cell culturing experience are anice to have
• Fluent inEnglish
• In possession of a car or able toarrange one
• Accurate worker, motivated tolearn an extensive process and all relatedqualifications
• Looking for a long termjob
• Willing to work in shifts (includingevening, night an weekend). Types of shifts can vary per project ofseveral months. Exact schedule and subsequent allowance to bedetermined per project.
