- Secure and monitor fulfillment of the operational goals for all our business channels, as well as the goals and strategy of the Logistics Region, through controlling, business sense and leadership.
- Financial Controlling of WH & TR flows within Netherlands Logistics: Budget, forecasts, financial follow, and monthly cuts. Contribute to business cases supporting decision material and projects.
- Operational Controlling, monitoring, and contributing to fulfillment of performance KPI's as well as proactively monitoring operational planning and capacity.
- Participate in driving the Commercial agenda towards our partners, under region ownership.
- Lead the DC team as part of the Management Triangle together with the DCM and HR.
- Develop the local controlling team to secure functional responsibilities as well as succession.
- Contribute to building a strong collaboration with the Region, other Stakeholders as well as within Netherlands & Cluster South, with great openness to both learning and sharing knowledge.
- A degree in Economics, Finance, Business administration or Logistics
- Proven experience in managing teams and developing direct reports, fostering growth and securing performance by communicating job expectations.
- Possibly work experience from retail and online logistics or transports
- Experience using different Business Intelligence systems is meritorious.
- The ability to comprehend, analyze and handle large amounts of data.

The Logistics Controlling department
The department is an important part of the Management function within the local H&M Logistics organization, consists of several Logistics Controller functions and led by the DC Controlling Manager. Its main scope is comprised of securing full visibility and reliability of data as well as entire invoicing process, steer the organization towards its yearly goals, and supervise and facilitate collaboration between all stakeholders. The department has the ownership of all key figures such as KPIs, OKRs, CPUs etc. used internally both locally and globally, reporting directly to the DC Manager with a dotted line to Regional Controlling functions.
The DC Controlling Manager role
This role is comprised of the main position as manager and leader of the local Controlling team, as well as of a strategic position as part of the local Management team. Together with your colleagues/direct reports within the Controlling team you work closely with our external business partner/operations departments to secure a consistent service level to our customers and to our Brands, as well as securing a strong financial control. You contribute greatly to building a strong collaboration with our internal and external stakeholders, including ownership of the Commercial function. You are the main responsible for leading and developing the local controlling team and for the reporting to Regional Controlling according to internal expectations and routines. You play a key role in reaching our goals, both short and long term.

Welcome to Netherlands Logistics
Our logistics facility in Tilburg is operated by a 3PL partner (major player in Logistics market). From DC Tilburg we mainly serve our customers from the Portfolio Brands E-Com as well as our Retail Stores throughout the European market. Besides the Portfolio Brands, the operations cover our H&M E-Com customers from several European markets including the Netherlands.
Our logistics facility in Nieuwegein is operated by H&M. From DC Nieuwegein we mainly serve our stand-alone H&M Home concept Retail Stores throughout the European market. Here we also support DC Tilburg and other business channels with externalized services and storage (ex. NCG storage for Netherlands stores).
