As a Quality Control Assistant in our food manufacturing facility in Best, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of our food products.

Working closely with the Quality Control team leader and production team, you will conduct inspections, maintain quality records, and uphold regulatory standards to guarantee the highest level of product excellence.

Your challenge:

Product Inspection: Perform thorough inspections of food products at various stages of production, including raw materials, processing, packaging, and finished goods, to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Documentation: Accurately record and document inspection results, including any deviations, non-conformances, or quality issues, using designated forms and quality control software systems.

Sanitation and Hygiene Checks: Monitor and enforce adherence to sanitation and hygiene practices in production areas to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.

Sampling and Testing: Collect samples of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for laboratory testing and analysis to validate quality attributes and nutritional content.

Allergen Control: Implement and oversee allergen control measures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure accurate labeling of allergenic ingredients in food products.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Non-Conformance Management: Identify and report any quality deviations, non-conformances, or safety hazards to the Quality Control team leader, and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Equipment Calibration: Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment, thermometers, pH meters, and other instruments to ensure accurate measurements and reliable performance.

Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with production staff, supervisors, quality assurance team members, and other stakeholders to address quality-related concerns, provide feedback, and facilitate problem-solving.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality control processes, enhance product consistency, and drive operational excellence.


What you'll need:

  • MBO diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in food science, quality assurance, or related field is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in a quality control, food safety, or inspection role an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of food safety principles, sanitation practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of quality control tools and methodologies, such as sensory evaluation, microbiological testing, and environmental monitoring.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with quality standards and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fastpaced production environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
