- Receive, review, and process import documentation for an assigned base of accounts
- Obtain and process Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate, arranging delivery, and invoicing the import accounts to their SOP
- Monitor transactions and notify supervisory personnel of any problem or irregularities
- Provide excellent and timely client service by informing the client of the status of their shipment(s)
- Coordinate the release of goods from the carrier, customs or other governmental agency examinations that may be required.
- Update key milestones in a timely manner, based on the customer's needs.
- Be available in a shift pattern, weekends and evenings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent client service skills, responding promptly and professionally to client needs and requests for service and assistance.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of EU currency, weight, volume and distance measurements
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence.
- Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills
