- Assist in the sourcing and selection of suppliers/vendors, including conducting research, obtaining quotes, and evaluating supplier capabilities.
- Support the creation and issuance of vendor forms and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update purchasing records, databases and documentation.
- Assist in reviewing contractual terms and conditions of agreements with suppliers.
- Support the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function.
- Adhere to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate degree program in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Willingness and ability to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to work with numbers and analyze data.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- Strong ethical conduct, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
