About Our Client
The client is a major global leader in travel retail, operating thousands of retail, convenience, and food & beverage outlets across airports and other travel hubs worldwide.
They employ a large international workforce and focus on delivering a seamless, high‑quality experience for travelers across more than 70 countries.
Job DescriptionReview and approve manual journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
Ensure financial processes are followed correctly and proactively flag any deviations.
Support both internal and external audits by preparing documentation and acting as a knowledgeable point of contact.
Help strengthen internal control frameworks, including adherence to PCAOB standards.
Collaborate with global finance teams to maintain consistent, high‑quality AR processes.
Provide daily operational support to colleagues, contributing to a smooth and efficient workflow.
Prepare clear weekly and monthly financial reports to support business decision‑making.
The Successful Applicant
Has solid experience in Accounts Receivable within a Shared Service Center (3-5 years).
Brings proven ability to review and validate balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
Understands internal control frameworks (PCAOB or similar) and works confidently within them.
Is experienced with systems such as SAP and ideally familiar with Blackline.
Shows strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
Communicates clearly and collaborates easily with international teams.
Thrives in a dynamic, multicultural environment and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
Demonstrates a proactive, results‑driven mindset with high integrity and ownership.
Is service‑oriented, supportive to colleagues, and naturally takes initiative.
