    Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE) is is one of the world's leading design schools, recognised internationally for its forward-thinking and renowned professors and alumni. With a rich history and a deep commitment to creativity, it strives to push the boundaries of design and train future leaders and innovators. DAE is a University of the Arts. Besides a Bachelor and Master education line, research departments and pre-education DAE host every year one of the biggest graduation shows in the world. You play a crucial role in attracting a new generation of designers as well as communicating graduates for the graduation show.

    Job description:

    Working closely with the Content & Communication Coordinator, you will be responsible for our Marketing, communication and social media plan and execution.

    You:

  • Execute communication strategies across designated areas, ensuring alignment with guidelines and budgets;
  • Plan and organize the publication of audience-focused content to promote events through effective campaigning;
  • Implement email campaigns targeting specific areas of interest;
  • Contribute to the development of clear and targeted marketing plans for educational recruitment;
  • Evaluate data on usage, engagements and responses to online communication channels, providing insights for optimization;
  • Publish and monitor all organizational and community-related content across DAE's social media platforms;
  • Stay updated on industry trends and topics relevant to DAE's community, reporting regularly;
  • Initiate new content proposals to remain relevant on various and future social media platforms;
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy, including guidelines for platform;
  • Provide administrative support, including monitoring and managing DM responses on social media platforms and overseeing data analysis for recruitment and promotion.

    • What will you bring to the team?

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or related field;
  • A strong command of Dutch and English, both written and verbal;
  • Good understanding of marketing and communication principles, with experience in social media management;
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights for campaign optimization;
  • Proficiency in content creation and curation, with an understanding of audience targeting;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Experience with content management systems and social media analytics tools is a plus.
  • Some knowledge in the area of the discipline of design and design culture will be an asset

    Alongside this you'll receive:

  • A contract for 20 hours per week based on 2 days at DAE and 4 flexible hours working from home and/or from special events and/or for content monitoring.; Employment: temporary with permanent prospects;
  • A salary within the range of € 3.091,78 and € 4.085,57 gross per month based on 36 hours;
  • Reimbursement of your public transport costs or a kilometre reimbursement of € 0,23 per kilometre;
  • A healthcare allowance and working from home allowance;
  • A workplace within the centre of Eindhoven. Within walking distance from the train station and a parking spot next to the building;
  • As an academy, we encourage professionalization with room to grow, development talks and training opportunities. A holiday allowance of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.3% and other conditions in accordance with CAO-HBO;
