About the role

AIG's underwriters develop insurance solutions that address the exposures of companies and individuals, and embody AIG's tradition of innovation, bringing to market sustainable insurance solutions for our changing world.
Based in our Rotterdam office located in the Rivium in Capelle aan den IJssel, you will be part of our team of enthusiastic professionals. You will be responsible for handling new business and reviewing and renewing existing books of business in a portfolio of major global accounts with large exposures. You will be fundamental in creating underwriting excellence and profitability for AIG.
Key Responsibilities
Profile
· Significant experience in the insurance industry, preferably in Property underwriting
· An appropriate level of education and all necessary WFT- exams
. Good communication skills, both written & verbal in Dutch and English language
· Time management – ability to manage & prioritize workload and diary management.
· Ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
· Stress resistant: able to work in a "busy" environment
