    Functieomschrijving

    De Data Center Services (DCS) afdeling opereert binnen het bredere kader van GIT & Infrastructuur. Het hoofddoel van GIT & Infrastructuur is om de Defensie Infrastructuur te beheren en ICT-diensten te leveren die voldoen aan de behoeften van de klant op een efficiënte manier.

    De rol omvat de volgende verantwoordelijkheden:

    1. Definieert de technische vereisten en onderhoudsstandaarden voor de infrastructuurcomponent.
    2. Adviseert, ondersteunt en rapporteert over technische aspecten van de infrastructuurcomponent.
    3. Voert technische impactanalyses uit.
    4. Ontwikkelt indien nodig infrastructuurcomponenten op basis van algemeen of specifiek ontwerp binnen de ICT-architectuur.
    5. Ondersteunt zowel technisch als operationeel de implementatie van nieuwe technologieën voor moderne cloud-native services.
    6. Begeleidt Senior Ontwerpers binnen de Productieclusters bij hun werkzaamheden.


    Functievereisten

    • Het gebruik maken van specifieke kennis om relevante ICT-Technologie en -specificaties te definieren die kunnen worden ingezet bij de bouw van meerdere IT-projecten, toepassingen of verbeteringen van infrastructuur.
    • Een afgeronde HBO of WO opleiding, of beschikt over min. HBO werk en
      denkniveau.
    • Kennis van scripting en configuration management tooling op basis van
      bijvoorbeeld: Ansible om automatiseringstaken te stroomlijnen
    • Kennis van security en compliance, om beveiligingspraktijken en
      nalevingsvereisten op de on premise Cloud te kunnen toepassen, ten aanzien van onder andere
      netwerksegmentatie, acl's en het mitigeren van kwetsbaarheden in de virtuele infrastructuur
    • Minimaal 5 jaar aantoonbaar kennis en ervaring met van moderne cloud technieken zoals
      containerization en kubernetes evenals het kennen van begrippen als DevOps en CI/CD.
    • Minimaal 3 jaar aantoonbaar kennis en ervaring van virtualisatietechnologieën op basis van de
      VMware Suite (vSphere, vSAN, vCenter).
    • Minimaal 3 jaar als Platform/Devops Engineer in enterprise omgevingen.

    Wensen

    • Kennis van moderne Cloud technieken zoals containerization en kubernetes evenals het
      kennen van begrippen als DevOps en CI/CD.
    • Bij voorkeur bijdragen om het geautomatiseerd beheer van de virtuele infrastructuur te verbeteren.
    • Bij voorkeur werkervaning met Cloud Automation op basis van automation en orchestration.
    • Bij voorkeur werkervaring binnen het veiligheidsdomein van de Nederlandse Overheid.
