    Role Summary

    This is a hybrid role based in our Amsterdam/Rotterdam offices (2 days/week in-office). This role will be responsible for the daily HR Operations in our Netherlands offices. This role will mainly be responsible for items related to onboarding and offboarding of employees, record keeping of HR files, upkeep of employee data and files in our HRIS system, completing employee requests as needed as well as supporting the Global HR function with operational tasks on a regular basis.



    Essential Duties and Responsibilities


    HR Administration and Compliance

    • Processing promotions, increases and other contractual amendments by drafting addendums, filing signed documents, and updating our payroll and HRIS systems
    • Supporting payroll by inputting amendments and adjustments into our HRIS system in the Netherlands and world-wide remote through our EOR vendor
    • Processing visa applications, residency permits and relocations for the Netherlands, as well as managing applications for 30% ruling for HSM residence permits in the Netherlands
    • Maintain accurate employee and payroll records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
    • Prepare and distribute HR-related reports and metrics
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all locations where the company operates
    • Support, administration and reporting on time off (PTO, public holidays, parental leave, sick leave, bereavement etc.)
    • Administration of employee benefits, perks and SWAG
    • Support policy development, process improvements, and HR system implementations
    • Stay up to date with HR trends and Dutch/EU legislation changes, as well as best practices to continuously improve our processes, programs and offerings

    Employee Onboarding and Exit processes

    • Full ownership of the local onboarding process; manage onboarding tasks, day-one presentation, company swag, probationary period check-in and documentation. Draft offer letters and employment contracts
    • Manage the entire employee lifecycle process, from employee onboarding to employee departures, keeping our payroll platforms and HRIS system up to date at all times, issue employment documents (Employer Verification) and be the point of contact for the Company Doctor
    • Oversee the offboarding process
    • Ensure a smooth transition and knowledge transfer for departing employees

    Employee Engagement and Wellness

    • Visit our offices in Rotterdam and Amsterdam once per week or more to ensure our team has everything necessary – snacks, drinks, stationary, swag
    • Be the point of contact for our vendors and ensure high-level partnerships
    • Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee wellness and work-life balance
    • Host monthly events for our team in the Netherlands
    • Distribute global HR newsletter monthly
    • Support our remote experience and promote an open culture

    Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field
    • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a global organization in HR Ops, Generalist or Experience roles
    • Experience with Dutch employment relations and processes. Other EU countries is a plus
    • Knowledge of Dutch employment law, social security and regulations
    • Experience managing Sick Leave in the Netherlands (ARBO, UWV)
    • Experience with HRIS systems and reporting
    • Dutch and English language proficiency
    • Global HR and EoR experience a plus
    • HR certifications are a plus
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
    • Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive employee information
    • Passionate about HR Operations and dedicated to fostering a positive work culture of growth and development
