FunctieomschrijvingDe business controller is verantwoordelijk voor de inrichting en werking van de P&C cyclus en vervult een advies- en control rol in diverse rapportages aan het bestuur en/of andere stakeholders. Vanuit een onderzoekende houding en in samenwerking met diverse stakeholders binnen en buiten de organisatie, geeft de business controller een vervolg aan onderzoeken en analyses.
Het bestuur en de raad van toezicht zijn belangrijke gesprekspartners voor de business controller. De adviezen van de business controller zijn belangrijk in de dialoog met en tussen stakeholders over strategie- en beleidsontwikkeling. De business controller is een kritische, waarderende en constructieve sparringpartner met oog voor verschillende belangen en perspectieven.
De business controller is tevens Functionaris Gegevensbescherming (FG). Een FG ziet toe op de naleving van de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG). Dit omvat onder andere het adviseren van de organisatie over de naleving van de AVG.
Het takenpakket voor de business controller ziet er als volgt uit:
Begeleiden en ondersteunen van de planning & control cyclus;
Adviserende en signalerende rol naar bestuurder, managementteam, raad van toezicht, medezeggenschapsraad;
Toetsen van bestuurlijke voorstellen en signaleren van risico's;
Opstellen van financiële analyses, integrale trimesterraportages, meerjarenbegroting en jaarrekening;
Opstellen van formatiebudgetten in samenwerking met de verschillende opleidingen;
Intensieve samenwerking met de afdelingen kwaliteitszorg en Human Resource;
Verbeteren van interne processen en systemen op het gebied van financiën, waaronder implementatie van AFAS;
Onafhankelijke verantwoordelijkheid naar de raad van toezicht aangaande integriteit van de bestuurlijke informatievoorziening.
Naleving AVG.
Selectie-eisen
Minimaal HBO+ werk- en denkniveau in een bedrijfseconomische richting;
Ruime ervaring als business controller.
Selectiewensen
Ervaring in het onderwijs, met kennis van de sector, de systemen en de structuren is een pre;
Ervaring met de AVG;
Ervaring met MMP, Spend Cloud, Zermelo, AFAS en Foleta;
Kandidaat is bereid om een commitment af te geven voor de komende 4 jaar.
