As a Business Controller at Corbion you are responsible for the global operational reporting.

Your primary responsibilities include providing insightful finance analysis and collaborating with management to steer the production facilities in reaching their financial objectives.

You are a hands-on "go-getter" and a business partner who is highly proactive and accustomed to successfully partnering with leadership.

You are based out of our Corporate HQ in Amsterdam or our Global Business, Operations and Innovation Hub in Gorinchem and you report to the Senior Director Finance Global Operations.

Responsibilities
As the Business Controller Global Operations, your responsibilities include:

Monthly preparation and presentation of the OPS LT report
Period reporting & forecasting of Corbion CAPEX
Work as a business expert on SAC (BI) and support operations finance and his business partners to improve their use of SAC.
Responsible for global cost centers in which you prepare budget, monthly analysis and challenge responsible cost center owners with financial impact of business decisions and results
Support the Senior Director Operations Finance in adhoc business analysis requests
As Controller you are a key participant in the finance operations team and having contact with stakeholders across and within all levels of the organization

Context

The Business Controller Global Operations is part of the Business Control Team and reports to the Senior Director Finance Global Operations.

Business controllers in Corbion act as finance business partners for the Commercial, Operations and RD&A teams within the organization and are focused on value creation.

About you

Financial Education (University degree) joined with strong analytical and communication skills.
5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting/Finance environment. Preferably in an (international) manufacturing (bio)chemical environment.
Affinity with systems (e.g. ERP preferably SAP, SAP Analytical Cloud SAC (BI), Advanced Excel skills).
Excellent command of English speaking & writing.
Team player, flexible, good communicator, problem solver
Attitude to make the difference, selfstarting handson mentality, meeting deadlines, taking ownership and has strong analytical capabilities.
Sensitive for working with different cultures/nationalities.
