As a Software Engineer you work in a start-up setting with a unique tooling for the healthcare industry: this is an adventure of a whole new level
ORTEC Health is the business unit in ORTEC dedicated to serving the healthcare sector with data-driven solutions for Workforce & Integral Capacity Management and for Clinical Care & Research. The Clinical Care & Research unit is responsible for developing, marketing, and selling the LogiqSuite platform. The LogiqSuite platform is a new SaaS product aimed at medical specialists and researchers to help them during the diagnosis and treatment of patients or in innovative data-driven research. It will allow doctors to get back in control of delivering care by giving them unprecedented flexibility in designing their processes, collaboration, workflows, data, and reporting. It also allows them to conduct analytics on their patient data and includes decision support and planning to provide doctors with assistance in delivering care.
We currently help cardiologists, pulmonologists, rheumatologists, and oncologists to provide better and more efficient care to their patients. We implement apps on top of LogiqSuite for conducting research of heart problems, decision support to tune a CAR T-cell therapy to patient specific needs, and helping researchers fight leukemia in young children.
The LogiqSuite platform has been written from scratch using modern architecture techniques like microservices, CQRS and event sourcing. We use DDD (domain-driven design) to get a thought-through domain model that closely models the business and provides us with a functional decomposition that maps to decoupled services. We use Angular and Typescript for frontend development and C# for backend development. LogiqSuite is a multi-tenant SaaS product built using the PaaS services of Azure.
