ACTIVITIES

• As an R&D Engineer, your main focus will be on developing electrical and electronical components, playing a vital role in our product development team. Your innovative approach addresses the future demands of our customers
• You will be responsible for defining hardware requirements, designing PCBs, cabling, and accessories, conducting internal tests, and managing communication with suppliers
• Additionally, you will actively contribute to R&D projects, exploring new opportunities from concept to market entry phase, collaborating with the cross-functional DURAG team in Hamburg to ensure engineering standards and efficient project and product management

REQUIREMENTS

• Holder of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• At least 3 years of practical experience in Electrical / Electronical Engineering
• Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and adept in managing EMC, extra low, low, and high voltage systems
• Familiarity with regulations such as EN61010 and EN60730 for safe handling of low and high voltages
• Desirable expertise in spark plugs and electrical ignition systems
• Competence in electronics and electrical design tools (e.g. Pulsonix, EPLAN), requirements management (e.g. Polarion), and Microsoft 365
• Experience working with ERP and DMS systems, preferably SAP, and knowledge of CE/CSA/UL certification processes
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills, driven by curiosity and motivated by challenging objectives
• Proficiency in both spoken and written Dutch and English
