- Guide the EMEA Thermoplastics team in executing product development and technical service tasks to achieve successful business outcomes.
- Collaborate with Strategic Marketing and Product Managers to develop and execute technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Conduct comprehensive research, including attending trade shows and conferences and leveraging online resources, to scout new technologies.
- Regularly visit customers to provide technical support, conduct discovery processes, and present results.
- Lead customer needs and innovation meetings and research industry developments to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with customers to tailor materials to their specific needs.
- Evaluate and address technical topics ranging from design and planning to production and quality initiatives for all thermoplastic applications.
- Evaluate regional production formulation and capabilities and suggest improvements to ensure global alignment.
- Min. bachelors degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (a masters degree or higher is preferred).
- Relevant industry experience in customer product development and presenting new technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Understanding of managing technical projects in a global market environment.
