Professionally a master of science in Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Public Health from the University of Bristol (England, UK), and registered nutritionist and dietitian from Peru, with experience in personalized counseling in clinical nutrition and sports nutrition, and public health research, who is fluently spoken and written in English and Spanish language, has strong skills in research and communication, and currently lives in the Netherlands with a residence and work permit.

Professionally, in eight years, I have been working as a nutritionist and dietitian with a transnational company, small companies, and in my private practice by providing personalized counseling and follow-up to patients from diverse backgrounds, diagnostic and needs; and even as a nutrition consultant for a project for the Peruvian market with an international health tech company from Australia that focused on Wellness Apps. These vast experiences have made me gain excellent communication skills, expertise in scientific knowledge translation, attention to detail, deliver effective client service, and the ability to work independently. 

Also, in the last two years, I have been working in research in public health as a research assistant in a project that focused on the double burden of malnutrition and food systems of Peru using a community-based system dynamics approach, which was funded by the Biotechnology and Biosciences Research Council (BBSR) from the government of the UK and lead by Imperial College London in UK and Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Peru, the leading biomedical teaching and research institution in Peru where I worked at, and with international research collaborators from USA and Colombia. This experience made me gain abilities to coordinate the different steps of a project, such as the recruitment, engagement, and communication with high-profile stakeholders such as  FAO, UNICEF, WFP, Ministry of Health, NGOs, research centers, among others, and the coordination and facilitation in-person workshops events; engage with a collaborative and international team remotely and in-person, and coordinate and facilitate five in-person workshops events in different locations; communicate effectively in English in a work environment; and do research literature reviews, prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication, and do in-person and virtual presentations in English and Spanish language.
