I began my career as a QA engineer and after three years I decided to become an Android software engineer because I have always had a passion for programming. At Yandex, I have had the opportunity to work with both iOS and Android platforms and develop a variety of product features that have had a significant impact on millions of Yandex app users.

●  Develop and maintain features for Android and iOS applications, conduct code reviews, write unit tests, debug

and fix bugs in the codebase, collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software

solutions.

●  Developed and shipped call blocking feature for Android and iOS, significantly reducing the number of

unwanted calls received by users.

●  Created Message Filtering Extension for iOS, successfully identifying and filtering unwanted SMS and MMS

messages.

●  Developed client side of Phone Assistant feature for iOS and Android, allowing for automatic answering and

transcription of unwanted or missed calls through various messengers.

iOS Software Engineer Aug 2018 – Nov 2020

●  Developed and shipped the Caller ID feature (Call Directory extension) for Yandex and Yandex Browser apps for iOS, resulting in a significant increase in app installs after marketing campaigns.

●  Created an Action extension and an Unwanted Communication Reporting extension for collecting user feedback about phone numbers.

●  Developed the family search setting in the Yandex app to prevent children from accessing inappropriate content.

●  Implemented a native checkout feature to check the hypothesis if it is better than web checkout (spoiler: no).

Android Software Engineer Nov 2016 – Aug 2018

●  Developed and shipped the Caller ID library for Android and integrated it into Yandex Maps and Yandex apps, leading to increased app installs through marketing campaigns.

●  Implemented a feedback collection system for incoming calls, providing data for call classification.

●  Created offline mode with incremental updates to support Caller ID users without an internet connection.

●  Prototyped app to test and refine indoor location algorithms based on location data for the R&D team.
