THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer you have to ensure transparent communication on program progress, challenges, and results.

You work in close collaboration with the Chief Digital Officer to align the IT modernization strategy with the broader digital goals of the organization.


As a successor of an interim Program & Portfolio Manager it is important to ensure a seamlessly integrate into the existing program and take over ongoing initiatives.

Evaluate the current status, identify any gaps, and implement appropriate measures to ensure program continuity.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Program and Portfolio Management:


  • Develop and manage a detailed program and portfolio roadmap.
  • Identify strategic goals and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the program

Stakeholder Management:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Effectively communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to the leadership team and other involved parties.

Budget and Resource Management:


  • Responsible for program budget management.
  • Optimize resource allocation and ensure maximum efficiency.

Risk Management:


  • Identify, assess, and manage risks that may impact the program's success.
  • Implement strategies to reduce or eliminate risks.

Technological Modernization:


  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure modernization aligns with business objectives.

Reporting and Evaluation:


  • Prepare regular progress reports and evaluations for the leadership team.
  • Continuously monitor performance and adjust the strategy as needed.

Complex Integration and Architecture Challenges:


  • Collaborate with Enterprise and system architects to ensure architecture meets established standards and future organizational needs.

Demarcation and Change Management:


  • Define clear demarcation points within the program to clarify responsibilities of different teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective change management strategies to minimize resistance and ensure a smooth transition to the modernized IT platforms.

Collaboration with Different Disciplines:


  • Facilitate close collaboration and alignment among various disciplines, including business stakeholders, IT teams, architects and change managers.
  • Organize regular meetings and workshops to foster synergy and proactively address issues

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


  • More than 15 years of relevant work experience;
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Digital Technology, Business Administration);
  • Experience and leading complex digital implementation projects within a technologydriven organization;
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage various stakeholders.
