The
Marketing department is part of
Damen Global Support, based in Gorinchem and is established for the entire Damen Shipyards Group and all its divisions and endorsed brands.

It's an exciting time to join our Marketing Communications team.

We have ambitious plans in place and need to recruit an experienced
Traffic & Content Manager for 40 hours per week.


THE ROLE:


As our
Traffic & Content Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the content creation team (the 'Content Factory') delivers on time and on budget and is optimizing the (creative & consistent) quality of the content deliverables for the entire Damen organisation.

In this role you will be responsible for predicting the demand flow to define on relevant (human) resources according to competitive rates.

You will have a managerial role for the content factory team, consisting of hired employees, freelancers and media agencies. We expect people management skills, where it's your responsibility to attract, lead, coach, appraise and develop employees.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Strategy and vision on value and process thinking;
  • Monitoring the request to deliver time;
  • Preparing and facilitating all content creators and give tools to traffic & content specialist;
  • Negotiating rates and delivery times of internal & external suppliers;
  • Birds eye on activities of different parties, incl. division of labor in team of creators;
  • Monitoring budgets;
  • Report analytics and progress including advise to management team;

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


  • Higher vocational education (HBO) with at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within content creation agency / media production;
  • Past experience in leading a team;
