About the position:

We are seeking a skilled Safety & Health Program Manager to join the Safety, Health & Environment team at our client's Veghel site.

In this role, you will oversee complex safety initiatives while also driving improvements and innovation in safety and health practices.

Responsibilities:

Manage complex safety programs (including ATEX)
Provide guidance and inspiration to managers and employees, leveraging expertise in safety practices.
Develop and execute the Safety and Health year plan.
Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in safety and health, including initiatives focused on safety awareness, culture, leadership, and behavior.
Lead and support accident investigations and incident reporting.
Manage stakeholder relationships and external audits, serving as a key point of contact for relevant authorities and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as safety, environment, technology, engineering, or management.
Certification as a Higher Safety Expert (HVK), Integral Safety Expert (IVK), or Management of Safety, Health & Environment (MoSHE).
5+ years of experience in the process industry.
Strong skills in program and stakeholder management, analytical thinking, coaching, communication, and influencing.
