    The opportunity

    We are looking for a Experience Designer in EY's wavespace EMEIA team. This team works directly with all the wavespace centres across EMEIA (and the broader network of 48 centres globally) to co-create client experiences and support the development of the EMEIA wavespace ecosystem.

    EY wavespace is about people and business outcomes. We design immersive programs that bring the right people together, giving them the mindset and collaborative tools to think differently. These days we are doing this both virtually, in-person, and blended sessions for clients around the world.

    Your key responsibilities

  • A wavespace Experience Designer understands what excellent design looks like, how to articulate a client's vision and the roadmap to get there and has experience around sustainability. They are ultimately responsible for: Working with EY account teams to understand the client's situation and opportunities around sustainability Working closely with Experience Lead to translate their needs into an experience design, thereby aligning all stakeholders around the purpose of the session, the objectives, outcomes and outputs Support the end-to-end delivery for foundational wavespace archetypes OR, together with an Experience Lead, deliver the end-to-end wavespace experience for advanced wavespace archetypes Ensuring the experiences we deliver generate sales and pipeline for our business
  • In addition to client facing wavespace experiences, the role supports the ambition of the wavespace ecosystem to accelerate the way that the wavespace ecosystem brings the best of EY to our client's transformational ambitions and challenges.

    • This will involve supporting on initiatives and projects which:

  • Anticipate future trends and patterns where wavespace can help clients create competitive advantage, challenge the status quo of how wavespace is used, and architect the future of the ecosystem at speed
  • Leverage the profile and brand of wavespace to generate client demand for high quality experiences, and empower the business to sell and self-serve (relevant) experiences
  • Connect the full power of the wavespace ecosystem to cultivate and co-create [client] experiences which accelerate growth, create long term value and help us to flourish together

    • Detailed responsibilities include:

  • Supporting initiatives to embed wavespace into our priority Sectors, buyer based Fields of Play and EY solutions
  • Work with senior stakeholders across EY to change their behaviour in the way they understand and use wavespace
  • Build assets which can be used by account teams or solution teams to tell the story of wavespace (and create demand for wavespace in out go-to-market activities)
  • Ensure a consistent wavespace design experience using approved methodologies and best practices
  • Support managing session scope and costings
  • Manage staffing of all required session personnel (SMRs, account team members, wavespace, etc)
  • Support cadence of calls with client Sponsor Design Team
  • Oversee logistics, technical setup, etc.
  • Oversee session documentation, and ensure successful close out
  • Manage account team and delivery team stakeholders as part of the session design
  • Successful delivery of simple sessions across a wide array of industries with focus on sustainability
  • Generate additional leads and follow-up wavespace opportunities with stakeholders

    • Skills and attributes for success

  • Bachelors / University degree or equivalent qualification with exposure to Systems or Design Thinking
  • 3-5 years professional experience
  • Ability to quickly understand different client objectives and use creative problem-solving skills to translate objectives into engaging workshops
  • Some experience working directly with senior stakeholders (internally and with clients)
  • Exposure to facilitated workshops and techniques, and leading the facilitation in some cases eg, in smaller sessions or breakout groups
  • Experience using design thinking and working in agile teams
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to coach internal teams
  • Business knowledge of one (or more) industry sector
  • Fluent, business level English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to work in Europe (requisite visa)

    • Ideally, you'll also have

  • Experience using (and a passion for) interactive technology and collaboration tools
  • A curious mindset and the ability to drive innovation
  • A background in bringing together multiple parties to work together to architect solutions and ideas which engage clients
