Jockey Club Student Village III, located in Kennedy Town, provides accommodation for 1,800 students in its four Residential Colleges – Shun Hing College, Chi Sun College, Lap-Chee College and New College. The Residential Colleges are intellectually and culturally diverse learning communities where residential education and intellectual pursuits are closely integrated. The Colleges are also committed to community engagement and carry a strong sense of identity and an emphasis on contribution to society. The General Office in the Village, in addition to ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment, plays an important role in supporting students and the tutorial teams led by respective College Masters to initiate projects to contribute to the community in the neighbourhood and beyond.
Applicants should have completed Form 5 or above, with 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 3 years of work experience. Applicants with a recognised degree are preferred. They should also have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good communication and interpersonal skills; and proficiency in MS Office such as MS Word, Excel, and database management.
The appointee will provide full administrative support to Senior Site Manager and Site Manager; handle student residence information including lodging fees payment; manage records of student residents; provide logistic support to College events; and perform other duties as assigned. He/she may be required to work outside normal office hours. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to attend a written test and an interview as appropriate.
