We are seeking a
Global HR & Employee Experience Intern to support our global HR policy management efforts at Stolt-Nielsen.

Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist storage and transportation provider for bulk liquids: Chemicals, clean petroleum, gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals.

We also focus on opportunities in aquaculture & LNG.


What will you be doing
As our intern based at our Rotterdam headquarters (HQ), you will support the Executive Assistant & Employee Experience Specialist. Your primary focus will be creating a policy structure that ensures consistency, legal compliance, and an enhanced employee experience. Clear policies contribute to a positive workplace and guiding decision-making processes


Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with regional HR stakeholders to review and update global policies.
  • Ensure local policies align with global standards and are easily understandable.
  • Conduct research to stay up to date with legal guidelines.
  • Regularly update the HR portal, our employee experience platform to provide accurate and consistent information related to various people initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Work and Organizational Psychology, Communication, Legal or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and having knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve project goals with a handson mentality and having a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Extra

  • Internship duration: 6 months.
  • You will have the opportunity to work 3 days per week from our Rotterdam headquarters (HQ) in the historic Veerhaven area.
  • We offer an internship allowance of €650 based on fulltime working hours.
