We're seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Dutch Teacher to work two days per week (Monday/Tuesday), to teach Dutch language learning skills to our Junior School pupils.

The primary objective of the Dutch Teacher is to take responsibility for the teaching and learning of Dutch language learning for Junior School pupils, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment and providing a relevant and stimulating curriculum to deliver the best outcomes for our pupils.

• Plan, teach and review highquality Dutch lessons, inspiring every child to love learning, to attain high standards and to make excellent progress
• Develop excellent relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
• Collaborate effectively with team members and class teachers
• Make appropriate provision for pupils with additional needs & English language learners
• Create a safe, organised and purposeful classroom environment
• Promote consistent, positive behaviour at all times
• Maintain assessment records and reports on pupil progress
• Take a positive, proactive part in the wider life of the school e.g. delivering assemblies for Dutch cultural events, supervising playtime or lunchtime duties, supporting educational visits including residential camps, leading an extracurricular activity
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

• Experience of teaching younger schoolage children
• Experience of teaching Dutch in an educational setting
• Teaching qualification

• Strong organisational & time management skills
• Confident IT and technology skills
• Knowledge of British Schools curriculum useful
