For a start-up life sciences company in Nijmegen we are looking for a Financial Controller. You work together with management and outside consultants based in the USA to build a solid foundation for rapid growth. • Checking and improving the financial administration;
• Conducting the fixed asset administration; grant accounting and reporting;
• Optimizing financial (and operational) processes, including lab supply/inventory movements; monthly, quarterly and annual closing and annual accounts;
• Drawing up and analyzing balance sheet specifications for internal and external reporting purposes;
• Analyzing the monthly figures and providing reports at the end of the period-end closing;
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts;
• Assisting the HR director with payroll and benefits administration;
• Providing outside accountants with accurate data for preparation of VAT and other tax returns. various projects.

• Bachelor HBO degree
• 4-6 years of experience of relevant work experience
• Analytical, hands-on, accurate
• Excellent in English, good in Dutch
• Fulltime available

Salary: €4.500,00 - €5.900,00 per month, 13th month bonus, holiday pay, commuting reimbursement, US parent company stock options.
