We are looking to expand our central Quality team in our European Headquarters in Rotterdam adding a valuable new member to the team as our
European Packaging Quality Specialist
Packaging is critical to product integrity consumer safety sustainability goals and operational excellence — and in this role you sit right at the heart of it.
You will work in a highly cross-functional international environment with Procurement Packaging Engineering Manufacturing Suppliers Quality teamsand external experts.
,Responsibilities
- Ensure that packaging materials processesand finished goods meet internal quality standards customer requirementsand regulatory expectations
- Coordinating packaging material evaluations — and when relevant supplier evaluations — to ensure only approved materials are used that meet quality food safety regulatoryand operational performance requirements
- Performing risk assessments for new packaging materialsand packaging technologies e.g resin (r)PET metal cans liquid paperboard
- Leading theresolution of complexpackaging-relatedquality issueswith autonomy escalatingthe most critical caseswhen needed involvinginternalandeexternalexperts
- Suportingpackaging innovation dual sourcing compliance productivity projects closecollaborationwithProcurementplants suppliers technicalsubjectmatter experts
- Leddincontinuousimprovementthepackagingspecificationprocess
