Great job

Mentor and guide students during international internships and provide feedback (including formal assessments) to their work.
Take the initiative in learning about blended learning, technological developments (such as A.I.), and data utilization.
Employ activating and creative didactical methods to promote students' digital literacy.
Maintain professional relationships with industry partners for our projects and internship opportunities.

Your role as educator within Avans

International Business has built a sound reputation in higher education, which is rooted in a committed and highly international staff, with a personal and small-scale approach to education, an internationally and interculturally diverse student population and a strong network of international partner institutions.

International Business offers you a challenging work environment within a culturally diverse team of Business professionals. The team comprises of 33 enthusiastic professionals. We offer our study programs to approximately 900 students. Self-management and personal responsibility are highly valued within both our programs and our students graduate as excellent young professionals.

We'll also offer you:

A monthly salary of at least € 4,234 up to a maximum of € 5,936 gross, based on a fulltime position (scale 11 in the collective labour agreement for Higher Professional Education).
A yearend bonus, which is approximately equal to a 13th month.
Initially, we will offer an annual contract for this permanent position (0, 1,0 fte). Our intention is to offer you a permanent contract within 2 years, as long as the circumstances allow.

Additionally:

You hold, at minimum, a relevant master's degree and have relevant (international) work experience in international business including the sustainability, ethical and legal challenges that pertain to international expansion and in Higher Education.
You have experience with teaching professional skills and the ability to develop and assess these.
You have a Basic Qualification in Didactic Competence (BDB) certificate or you are willing to attain this through Avans.
You possess excellent communication skills in English C1 level.
You are willing to take on roles that revolve around our IB curriculum including the design of new curriculum components and guiding students during internships.
