- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising or related field required;
- 10+ years relevant work experience in merchandising, digital retail and/or GMM functional role;
- Minimum of 4 years experience of leading diverse teams from 4 people till more;
- You are a strong leader: managing ambiguity, strategic vision and effective teamwork;
- Fully proficient in assortment planning, retail acumen, marketplace knowledge, consumer insights and line planning;
- Proven ability to ideate and apply creative thinking, including digital execution concepts in partnership with Site Experience and Marketing;
- Strong multitasking, organizational and problem solving skills;
- Ambitious, autonomous and information seeking attitude.
- Strategic vision: Develop and execute a product strategy for the Digital Direct business across footwear, apparel and accessories in order to deliver digital consumerright online product assortments;
- Drive this strategy in the key gates and deliverables in the seasonal game plan;
- Serve Demand: Partner with the Digital Planning team and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that has the right product, with the right volumes, at the right time to meet current consumer demand as well as connecting new audience
- Use pastseason hindsighting, trend analysis and brand product strategy to inform the seasonal assortment plan;
- Insights led approach: leverage customer data and trend insights to develop product roadmaps and key category plans that meet Digital Direct growth objectives;
- Influence product creation through global and local product engines with a customer insights driven approach;
- Drive for results: Ensure product revenue is maximized to serve customer demand at the best possible margin. Create various analyses throughout the season to review sales results, pricing architecture and product assortment performance;
- Obsess Storytelling: Drive Customer Journeys from concept to inseason trade via the gotomarket process. Ensure that Digital Direct is the best expression of the brand in geography.

We are looking for someone that can start as soon as possible. It is a role for 40 hours a week.
Nike has a hybrid working model, you will work 2 days from home and 3 days from the office in Hilversum.

To be successful in this role, we require someone with Direct-to-Consumer retail experience within a digital business, leading and developing high performing teams.
This role reports directly into the GM of Digital, Western Europe and will be part of the Digital Leadership team.
We are looking for someone that has the following competences and knowledge:
The Merchandising Manager will drive the buying process for Converse's own e-commerce channel and will require merchandising excellence in the development of customer-focused product strategies, delivering consumer/product insights and building digital consumer-right assortments.
If this is you, you'll demonstrate product aesthetic and apply retail acumen, whilst partnering cross functionally to deliver a profitable customer led digital experience across multiple markets.
Your key areas of focus will be: strategic vision, serve demand, insights led approach, drive for results, obsess storytelling and leadership.
The Converse Digital Direct team is a diverse, cross-functional team consisting of Consumer Direct Sciences, Site experience & Merchandising, Operations, Tech, Marketing and Finance.
