Wij zijn op zoek naar een ervaren Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) engineer als versterking van ons team. Ons team is gespecialiseerd in CFD simulaties en actief in een grote diversiteit aan werkvelden, zoals de bouw (ventilatiesystemen, windhinder), brandveiligheid, productontwikkeling, procesindustrie en maritiem/off-shore, etc. Naast specialistische kennis van CFD simulaties hebben wij vergaande technische kennis van de werkvelden waarin onze klanten actief zijn. Ons team is gespecialiseerd in CFD simulaties. Wij zijn inzetbaar binnen heel Sweco en werken vaak samen op projecten met teams uit andere disciplines, zoals Building Services, Energie en Duurzaamheid, Industrie en Water technologie. Daarnaast voeren wij simulaties uit voor onze opdrachtgevers als een losse dienst, bijvoorbeeld om een ontwerp te toetsen. Onze opdrachtgevers variëren van projectontwikkelaars tot technische adviesbureaus tot leveranciers of adviseurs van installaties. Een aantal voorbeelden van vragen die wij met simulaties beantwoorden zijn: Is er door een nieuwe ontwikkeling overmatig windhinder in de omgeving? Werkt de rookbeheersingsinstallatie zoals deze zou moeten werken? Welke krachten kan ik verwachten op mijn constructie in een rivieruitmonding? Kijk ook eens op .
Binnen ons team voer je zelfstandig CFD simulatie projecten uit van A tot Z. Je stelt de simulaties op, voert deze uit, verwerkt en interpreteert de resultaten en stelt een rapportage op. Je onderhoudt zelf contact met de klant voor het helder krijgen van de vraagstelling, opvragen van gegevens en terugkoppeling van resultaten. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor je eigen project vanaf de opstartfase tot rapportage en het geven van advies. Je werkt vaak zelfstandig aan je eigen projecten waarbij jij aanspreekpunt bent voor het projectteam van onze opdrachtgever. Als team sparren we veel en werken we samen in dezelfde ruimte. We zijn een hecht jong team, ietwat nerderig, en op zoek naar een ervaren professional.
