Finance Controller - Delft, Nederland - Zander Labs

We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Controller to join our growing team in Delft, Berlin, Cottbus and München to undertake all aspects of financial management, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. In this part-time role, you will play an active role in supporting the Project Director running the NAFAS project and our senior management team with its day-to-day business.

Your responsibilities:

• Overseeing overall financial management and steering our external partners in Holland and Germany.
  
• Serving as the primary liaison for all financial matters concerning the NAFAS project and the broader Zander Labs business.
• Conducting early assessments, analyses, and quantifications of the financial implications of risks and opportunities, with regular monitoring of action plans. Proactively monitoring and scrutinizing project cash flow.
• Take a proactive approach by offering the management team insightful guidance on financial matters and potential opportunities.
• Run accounting operations (contact with external accountants in Germany and the Netherlands, billing, A/R, A/P, Cost accounting, inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition, cash flow mgt, control man/hour writing).
• Teamplayer, open personality, experience working within a dynamic environment, with distributed teams
• Proven working experience as a (Project) Financial Controller
• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Dutch language skills (B2 or better)
